Tell me more about Fort Wilderness(Cross Trainers)

We have been going to FW for SEVERAL years.  It is a Christian camp in Rhinelander.  The Winter Retreat offers sledding (down a HUGE hill), ice-skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, broom ball (think hockey with just your boots on and instead of hockey sticks they are brooms!), the chair of death (which is actually a lot of fun, they made me go in it a few years ago), AWESOME food, lots and lots of fun!!

We will do a devotion in the mornings and at night and the rest of the time campers are allowed to explore the grounds. (There’s also a coffee shop and canteen to purchase treats.) The rest of the “fun” things are included when you sign up.

Tell me more about Fort Wilderness! (ACTS)

A message from Mike Ganrud:

The Cross Training and ACTS groups got together the Saturday before Thanksgiving to bake pies and a special type of cookie under the watchful eyes and tutelage of Madame Holden (they were also very fortunate to use equipment provided by Madame and Val Hense, and were very thankful for a Thrivent Action Team grant to help offset the costs).  We appreciated the congregation's support of the effort, as all had fun working together for a couple of great causes- youth trips, and Church In Society's Coat Drive.  The youth chose to donate $155 of the amount raised to the Coat Drive, with the remaining funds being dedicated to helping support youth trips such as Fort Wilderness and our summer service trip.  Speaking of that summer service trip.... if we said Colorado, would you want more info?  Stay tuned.... :-)
