The First Communion Stepping Stone Ceremony for fifth grade and older students will be Sunday, May 1, 2022 during the 8 a.m., 9:15 a.m., and 10:45 a.m. worship services.

Workshop

We welcome any participants to join our Stepping Stone workshops; a parent/guardian and child experience for preparation to receive First Communion. The workshop will be on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30-8:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Workshop Includes:
-What does Jesus say about Communion?
-Let's practice how to take communion
-Making a personalized chalice heirloom for 1st communicants
-Race to the Cup Challenge

Families should bring to the first class:
-A sturdy long stemmed clear wine glass with a smooth non-faceted surface to be used to create a personalized communion chalice.
-A Bible
