Even though there is no snow on the ground and it might not feel like Christmas, WELCA’s  annual Christmas in July collection is here.  Please be sure to stop by the narthex to see the Christmas tree and the collection bins.  Last year we had numerous requests for more cold weather items.

 We will be collecting new or like new mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and socks. We accept any size child or adult.  The items can be knit, crocheted or other warm weather items.  Now is the time to bring all the items that you collected at the end of winter.

If you are making scarves, we ask that they be approximately 8-10 inches wide and about 60 inches long.  Others can be used, but this size is the best.

All items will be distributed to various agencies throughout the area.
